We were outraged at Congress’s continued inaction on gun violence, but we knew irreverent commentary alone wouldn’t drive real change.
So we called out NRA-funded lawmakers directly—with $0 bills featuring their own faces and recent use of thoughts & prayers. We placed these bills strategically in banks, ATMs, and on the N/R/A trains in New York City.
We rallied people in the streets, through our campaign site, and on social media to find their representative’s respective bill and share it with them directly—demanding more than an empty statement on gun control.
They wouldn’t put their money where their mouths were. So we put their mouths where their money was.
