Introducing the Time Scouts Handbook, an 80-page manual of essential reading for those navigating the whatever of whenever. While it looks good on any coffee table, this book was written to be the centerpiece of the Time Scouts creative writing program for the incredible nonprofit 826LA.
826LA provides creative writing tutoring, classes, and help for English language learners at no cost to students or parents. In the tradition of the original location in San Francisco, each 826 has a whimsically themed storefront that raises funds for programing. In LA, that storefront is the Time Travel Mart, which inspired Time Scouts program.
I love intersection of great creativity and a great cause, and this book has both in spades. I hope you enjoy perusing its pages as much as I did writing them.
