UCLA Art Sci Center gave me the opportunity to concept + deliver a solo opera performance for the Austrian-based international art/technology festival, https://ars.electronica.art/keplersgardens/en/. The film debuted less than 1 month ago online! Below is the show description-
“Resilience” is a personally curated collection of beloved opera works, designed to help people process trauma during the Covid-19 pandemic and deliver healing through the human voice. The performance reflects the 2020 shared human experience from the onset of the virus through our global transition into the “new” world.
This project allowed me to combine my classical music career with my digital production career by truly building an opera performance intended for web only.
