Jeff has a conversation with The Side Show Co-Founder Sunita Deshpande about his projects, from hipster traps to an illegally installed Edward Snowden Statue, and then take questions from the audience.
After working his way from copywriter to creative director at some of the most celebrated ad agencies, Jeff Greenspan became BuzzFeed’s first chief creative officer. While his work has been recognized by the industry’s top award shows, he’s more well known for his comedic, political (and questionably legal) side projects. These have been shared by millions online, and focused international press attention towards topics such as government surveillance, corporate crime, and hipster infestation.
He’s now a standup comedian, and has recently written for filmmaker Michael Moore. Michael doesn’t pay as well as advertising, so Jeff still does freelance ad work here and there.
