Having worked with a range of craft beer brands throughout the course of my career, I’ve always been pretty passionate about the craft beverage industry. I figured the pandemic was a good excuse to dive a little deeper and develop my own brand of hard cider. Named after a love of Pinball I share with my cider assistant/5 year old daughter, I created Pinball Cider as a way to push the boundaries of what can be done or should never be done with hard cider. With a focus on dry ciders that have a heavy influence from the craft beer and cannabis worlds, everything comes from an extended family of Pacific Northwest farms.
Not only has this been a great way to have kegs full of something alcoholic during a global pandemic, it’s been a great way for me to stretch as a creative. From the cider making, to the label design, to the website, to the photography, I’ve learned a ton throughout the process and I’m excited to continue to develop the brand beyond this pandemic.
