Think about a corner in New York where, every time you pass it, you think of the same memory. Maybe it’s where you fell in love with someone, where somebody changed your life, or simply where you had a great slice of pizza at 2:00 AM.
We realized every person in NYC has corners like these, and that every NYC corner has a million stories. So, we set out to tell them all.
On This Corner is a project that shares the memories of New Yorkers on the corners where they happened. We collect anonymous stories online and their corner. Then we write the stories on bright yellow stickers and put them up on the corner they happened.
The project has gained a great following in New York and is in the process of expanding to different cities around the world – from Los Angeles to Toronto to Moscow.
